• The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary during the year 1990 with the following were the subject combinations :-
  • Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

  • Commerce, Economics, Accountancy. Business Mathematics.
• Due to heavy pressure from parents side for introducing new subject combinations at Higher Secondary Level and keeping in mind the scope of these subjects combinations, Management decided to introduce few more combinations at Higher Secondary Level.
• Department of Education readily accepted the subjects combinations to be introduced by seeing the school infrastructure and dedicated team of faculty members.

About Principal

Name :Mrs. Anandhi Thyagarajan

• EDUCATIONAL QULAIFICATIONS: M.A ECONOMICS, M.A HISTORY., B.ED
• Work Experience: Total 26 Years -15 Years as a Teacher & Co-Ordinator , 11Years as Principal

Mrs. Anandhi Thyagarajan, the Principal is the recipient of Best Teacher Award given by Government of Tamilnadu. A very energetic and dynamic person who has thrust for the upliftment of the school.

Some of the achievements made

• Recipient of Best Teacher award for consistent 100% pass in 10th History and Civics.
• A very successful class teacher for High and Higher Secondary Children brought out the talents of students in Academics and other co-curricular activities.
• Represented TN Government thru the South Zone Cultural Centre for a massive cultural programme at Satish Dhawan Space Research Centre Shriharikota which was witnessed by Dr.Kasturirangan
• Talent identification and Trained children in co-curricular activities and motivated them to win prizes and also to show their talent in TV programmes/shows.
• Took part in a massive cultural programme Mohini Attam on the occasion of the 50TH Independence Day Celebrations Organisised by Govt. of Tamil Nadu and South Zone Cultural Centre. For which received Certificate and Shield from The Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu Her Excellency Ms. Fatima Bivi.
• Prepared the children to participate in Republic day parade held in New Delhi in the year 1999.
• Recipient of Best Teacher Award three times.
• Produced 100% result with many centum.
• Giving remedial measures for academically weak students.
• Helping teachers for overall development of all children.
• The Government selected our school as the center school for checking the matriculation annual results and the nominal roles for 10th standard.
• Nominated by the CEO as the co-custodian.
• Regularly interacting with the students' parents and teachers on issues pertaining to the development of individual students.
• I was selected by I M S for conducting the inspection of relevant records of nearby Matriculation Schools in my area.
• Trained, developed and supported Teachers and recommended them for the Best teacher awards, who were awarded Best Teacher by Association of Matriculation Schools Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
• Educators Opinion on Mother's club given which was flashed in RajNews channel on 28.10 2012.
• Participated in Principal opinion meeting held in DPI in regard to grading system to be adopted for Schools.
• At the request of owners of Schools inspected their schools and guided them towards development and growth.
• Went as Chief Guest with Management's permission to some schools for their Annual Day Celebrations.

Social Services rendered

• Involved in active education programme for needy children for the past 24 years in Chennai, as head of the Sai Educational Centre for rural Balavikas children for free education coaching and counseling
• Personal coaching on a daily basis to 10TH& 12TH needy Children to ensure they pass with good marks and shape their career
• Helped needy Parents/Schools for their fees, books, school uniforms and sports goods, In Kanchipuram and Chennai.
• In ZPH Guajarati K K Matriculation School created an endowment in the name of my Mother and Mother-in-Law for Rs 22000/ whereby five children will avail scholarship every year.
• Collected around Rs 75000/ towards Lunch scheme for KG children to have nutritious meal @ ZPH Guajarati K K Matriculation School.
